PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate)
Its common name is PLEXY (PLEXI) – it is a stiff, transparent and thermoplastic material. Panels are always clear and extremely transparent. Due to these properties panels can be dyed in various colours- the range of colours has almost no limits and colours allow light through and diffuse it.
PMMA panels can be treated mechanically and shaped on industrial scale as well as for artistic purposes. The mentioned characteristics make a high position of PMMA among plastic materials.
