POM C (Polyacetal Copolymer- natural and black colour)
Polyacetals are polymers whose chains include mostly acetals (-O-C-O-). They are formed in aldehyde polymerisation processes. They are used in the following industries: food, processing, agricultural, chemical and machines industry. Polyacetals are characterised by very low humidity absorption, very high chemical resistance and high dimensional stability. POM C is more resistant to strong alkalis, thermal and oxidation degradation and hydrolysis.
Characteristics:
- Low friction coefficient
- High resistance to creep
- Perfect machinering
- High mechanical resistance
- High dimensional stability
- Low water absorption
- Good slide properties
Use:
- Slide bearings
- Components for machines used in the food industry
- Valve seats
- Electroinsulating elements used in electrotechnology
- Tension rollers working in humid environment
- Gears (also with low modules)
POM-H (Poliacetal Hopolimer – black)
This material is characterised by higher mechanical resistance, resistance to abrasion and creep.
