Link chains have a very wide range of applications and find their application in various industries: mining, engineering industry, steel, shipbuilding, cement, timber, extractive, agriculture, fisheries and technical applications and technical applications of general use, such as: conveyors of various types (bucket, scraper), mechanisms of lifting, carrying and retracting (chains for slings, manual or electric hoists), for the manufacture and assembly of traction devices.
The diversity of link chain applications makes that they are made from various materials (black steel, stainless steel, special tempered of higher hardness, without tension, with improved technical and performance properties), they may be surface hardened, hot dip or zink galvanised and painted.
The choice of material provides various strength classes: short cells from 2 to 6, the average ones from 2 to 3, long ones from 2 to 3. The design makes they intended to work with gear wheels, on rollers, to cooperate with plastic guides. Cells in the chains can be welded or laterally sealed.
